  This addon is a dream. It does exactly what you want. I've used it extensively. It's way more powerful than just logos. Side views, top views, etc, can all be jump started with this mechanism.

  Excellent addon, Functions Efficently and is a real timesaver VS hopping between different applications and importing. Default settings are generally good for most uses (with threshold being the most fiddled with setting), but you do have a good amount of control and settings to quickly produce exactly what you need within Blender.
  The addon is extremely consistent when you set up your images well, as Png's with a good alpha etc., but it will work with most images if you have a consistent background color (which is selectable).
  The dice function works well, as does the bevel and extrude. The custom engine seems to work much better and consistently than the "pro" version.
  And the author was very friendly and seemed dedicated to supporting and enhancing the addon.

  Based on my tests so far, the Addon works very well out of the box. You don't have to adjust much to achieve a great result. The developer is also very friendly and helpful.

  TraceGenius Ultimate is so easy to use. Most of the time I don't even have to change any settings to get a great result. Even with more complex images it is only a few simple tweaks to get a great result.

  On top of the core functionality of tracing, I really like the additional features included, such as automatically create a material using the original image, and the option to extrude and bevel the traced result.

  The developer is very quick to implement updates and is really responsive.

  All in all, I would recommend TraceGenius Ultimate to anyone with the need to do some tracing!

  An outstanding tool. I genuinely can’t imagine using Blender without it anymore. TraceGenius has become an essential part of my workflow, and the latest update is fantastic — the new trace image preview for visualizing trace regions before execution is a huge improvement. Excellent work and continuous development.

  The BEST addon for beginners and advance users of blenders alike. You want a mesh from a basic picture, Done. Hands down one of the best addons I've ever used. Cuts down the bulk of the work for basic projects down to basically nothing. Creator is also amazingly responsive any issue resolved quickly and professionally. Can't recommend this creator enough!

  Great add-on, now I don't have to leave Blender to convert and then trace files! Developer is very prompt to respond to questions and problems with answers and fixes. I especially appreciate that aspect of the add-on!

  This is an excellent addon. The models processed by it are very clean and tidy, and the speed has also been greatly improved compared to the Pro version! In my opinion, this is a very worthwhile purchase! 10 stars!
