  The ultimate upgrade from the pro version (which is still supported and a great option).

  It doesn't get simpler than this to convert images to geometry.
  With several processing and post-processing tools, this is an all-in-one package.

  The standout feature for me: The colour-picker allows easy selection of colours of a multi-colour image to convert just that colour to geometry! Different colours can then be assembled into a complex object with multiple parts.

  Honsetly the previous version is one of my most used addons, you'd be suprised how often it's helped with my projects! The developer is extremley good with updated and adding new features, and this updated Ultimate version is so much better!

  i normally trace logos by hand because normal auto tracers results always need to be fixed.

  not with this one. this one delivers, i love the grid feature, logos can be deformed properly thanks to the extra geometry and that feature alone makes it worth the entry price.

  now that this has been upgraded to ultimate the addon is one of the few i can no longer live without (actually if i narrow it to just this one, autorig and qremesher, they are all gamechangers when you are on a deadline).

  must buy if you animate logos, guys.

  I ended up buying it without realizing that it wasn't compatible with the latest version.

  Subject: Bug report – KeyError "Subdivision" not found on Finalize/Trace (v1.7, Blender 5.1.2)

  Hi Russel Studios,

  Thank you for TraceGenius Ultimate. I ran into a reproducible error and wanted to report it in case it helps.

  --- Environment ---
  - Addon: TraceGenius Ultimate v1.7
  - Blender: 5.1.2 (Windows)
  - Install: clean install of v1.7, dependencies installed successfully via "Install Dependencies", Blender restarted afterward

  --- What happens ---
  When I run the trace with Style set to "Filled", the operation throws a Python error and reports failure. However, the traced object IS actually created in the scene (TraceGenius Object > TraceCurve + Dice Mesh), so the mesh generation itself seems to complete — the crash happens at the finalize/post step where the code looks up a modifier named "Subdivision" that does not exist on the object.

  --- Steps to reproduce ---
  1. Open an image (background-transparent PNG, line art)
  2. Enable Color Picker, pick black, threshold ~0.5
  3. Style = Filled
  4. Press Trace Shape

  --- Note ---
  It looks like utils.py line 914 assumes a modifier named "Subdivision" is always present on the generated object, but in my case (Filled style) it isn't, so the lookup fails. A guard / existence check before accessing that modifier may fix it.
