  This is one of the most welcome options to come along in a long while.
  Bought the commercial version because the development needs to be supported.
  It's a 1.0 but it has limitless potential in the future, the less I need to rely on outside of Blender is fantastic.
  My only complaint is the bikini textures, but I think this can be worked around in the future, because even for fashion work, I need some anatomical detail. but it's still a fantastic product and I can't complain!

  The software's not without its faults, but it deserves its five stars, and comfortably.

  The ranges of assets, such as clothing, especially shoes, is rather limited, and there’s no T-pose. The range of ‘ethnic’ types is also limited, although the software should allow sufficient alteration to cope with most needs. And that’s it for the negatives.

  The most important bit of any addon is the UI, and here Human Generator (HG) shines. I normally take a while to settle in to new software but this is as straightforward as it could be with all the actions.

  It’s quite quick as well, which is probably important to some.

  The most outstanding aspect of HG is that it is fun. It could be a computer game on its own. I’ve seen 90 mins go by without noticing.

  Facial changes, some quite subtle, are simplicity itself, and with the number of variables, the range of possible faces is near infinite (a bit of an exaggeration, but not much). It really is remarkable what you can do.

  The age of the model can be changed with regards to sagging and wrinkles.

  The clothing is easy to add, although, as I said, the range is limited. Shoes look good.

  There’s a range of styles for hair that can be fiddled with to anyone’s desire. It looks first of all if there’re few to choose from, but things like length, etc, is up to the user.

  Two bits stand out: skin texture and eyes. I was stunned, especially with the latter, when I saw the options and results. Well done to Oliver. Brilliant.

  Speaking personally, I’ve struggled to build an asset library of models and clothes, and the first thing that springs to mind after using HG is where were you when I needed you. I have around a dozen models, both male and female. They’ve taken me months to create, and I’m not satisfied with all, perhaps even any, of them. I’ve created three HG models in the four hours since I bought it and they all are better than mine.

  You can probably tell that I’m well pleased with my purchase. Every item of software has bits where it’s less than exemplary, and HG is no different, apart from having only a few (and they all can be remedied, Oliver). A remarkable bit of software, with its five stars well earned.

  The price with the original offer is reasonable.

  As for your compliment about the skin texture and eyes, you'll have to credit Alexander for that ;-) (It's a collaborative add-on)

  Fantastic work guys -- this must have taken ages to make. Really well executed, easy to understand and use. Quality results every time, can't wait to see future updates such as more clothing options, more pose presets etc

  While a great tool, it's range of slider variance is notably limited. It should be considered that you can fully edit the mesh after it's creation, but that does not change the fact that random character designs look ALOT alike.
  It should also be considered this tool is new, and I'm sure they will be expanding its options and range.

  Thanks for the review and feedback! We want to include an 'experimental mode' in the near future that allows you to push the sliders further and we are also looking at other methods of increasing the variety even more!

  An excellent addition to the blender tool set! I can't wait to see how it might compare to programs like Daz Studio and Character Creator. Definitely worth a purchase.

  Not a single thought came into my mind about leaving less than a 5-Star review. As someone's who's always found making humans a daunting task, Human Gen is a brilliant add-on. Much better than it's alternatives, and cheaper than CC3. Realistic humans in minutes, yes please! I also feel the content packs will take it to another level.

  Really great work, the add-on is quite easy to use and email support is timely! And, congrats on +1000 sales (as of writing).
  Similar to other reviews, I think additional facial expressions would be ideal. Also, is it possible to add more hair colours? Perhaps I'm overlooking a setting, but I'd like to have my character with dyed hair look (i.e. green). On the plus side, I really dig the root colour setting (very nice).
  I'd also suggest on the 'about' page, add a section telling people what the priority updates might be, like a short list of upcoming updates that are actively being developed (i.e additional female hair & female clothes)?

  Either way, the add-on is fun to use.

  Thanks for the review and the feedback! We are for sure working on some new features that you mention, but we'd like to do some more testing of these new ideas before we announce what will be next. The female clothes one is already confirmed for a free outfit pack in Q2! As for the dyed hair colors, for now, the quickest way would be to open our hair node-group and change the color input of the Hair BSDF manually. We'll look into offering this option in the UI in a future update.

  This is by far the one add-on that I think is worth every penny.

  At first I was very skeptic about the promises, and yes, it's not perfect - yet! But for a launch version this is outstanding. The level of detail and realism when used with cycles is great.
  UI / UX is good. Performance is okay.

  What I'd wish for future updates:
  - more poses, more expressions
  - more hair presets
  - clothing needs a lot of work imo

  This is a great addon, very well made. Both the UI and Characters look awesome and give you the power to tweak a lot of settings quite easily. I am really looking forward to how this addon develops in the future. I know it's not easy, but having the ability to add in custom made props and clothing (while still being posable with the figure) would be at the top of my features "wish list".

  Thanks for the review and the feedback! Custom clothing is definitely possible and we'll share more about this soon. Custom props would also be very interesting, the hardest part about implementing this would be finger placement for things like cell phones
