  For the main difference, each uses a different tracing engine.

  If you prefer Blender's built-in Grease Pencil tracing, keep using TraceGenius Pro. It works perfectly for what the Blender's tracing engine can do and it has always been great.

  TraceGenius Ultimate on the other hand, has its own custom build tracing engine, and doesn't depend on Blender's tracing engine. The Custom Engine has been made to support additional essential features such as color picking and alpha/transparent region customization, which Blender's tracing doesn't support in any way.

  For a TraceGenius Pro customer, you actually don’t have to pay anything to upgrade. I sent an email to all TraceGenius Pro customers just after the release so you can get actually upgrade for free, Ahm. Maybe you missed that email. I really wish you reached out to me for explanations before leaving this negative review.

  Blender 4.3, paid for Trace Genius, installed per instructions.
  Errored out wont even work.

  Attribute error: Calling operator

  bpy.ops.gpencil_trace_image

  Could not be found.

  I am NOT a programmer so no idea how to fix.

  Version 3.2 supports Blender 4.3 excellently.

  Please uninstall previous version(very important).
  Then Download and install the latest version of TraceGenius(version 3.2).
  It works like charm, and you'll love it!

  Going forward from Blender version 4.3, Blender's developers have changed how we call the greace pencil programmatically, from "bpy.ops.gpencil.trace_image" to "bpy.ops.grease_pencil.trace_image".
  This massive change breaks the previous versions of my addon in Blender 4.3.

  I've implemented the changes and updated it in the newest version of TraceGenius(version 3.2). It now supports Blender 4.3.
  I'm very dedicated to improving TraceGenius and making it compatible with the current and even future version.
