  Perfect for importing STEP files and optimizing them directly in Blender. The hole-closing feature works especially well and is very useful for reducing unnecessary geometry.

  In addition, in large scenes with repeated parts, it can identify shared geometry and work with instances. This means that when you optimize one part, the optimization is automatically applied to all identical parts, even when they have different transformations.

  An excellent tool for the price. It makes the process of optimizing CAD models in Blender much faster and easier.

  the name of the add-on is spot on! the best CAD importer for blender hands down. there is just one feature I am missing and that is to have the assembly tree made with Blender collections, this way it would be more easy to show/hide/view port/render different parts of the assembly. Great job so far on this add-on!

  This is an insanely good STEP importer. If you work with CAD models for product visuals etc. then it's a must buy. It's really fast and rock solid. I've imported huge (over 10,000 parts) models with ease and everything just works.
  Instancing in the STEP file is preserved and you can tesselate and re-tesselate after import, which can really help with tidying up dense meshes that may not be seen up close. I have tried a lot of importers over the years, including bringing in models via Plasticity and MOI 3d and this is so much easier and faster.
  Highly recommended!
