  This add-on saved me a lot of headache when exporting armatures / skeletal meshes from Blender to Unreal Engine. It properly scales the root bone with the "Optimize For Game Engine" option, unlike the default Blender exporter where the root bone always has a scale of 100. This checkbox alone was worth the money for me.

  Simply outstanding exporting and importing of FBX files, and the one click to exclusively import animation to the selected rig in scene is "chefs kiss"...

  Works incredibly on some models, but there's some models I've encountered where they simply won't import using this addon, while the console just outputs "Running fbx to txt ..." and then stops...while the built in fbx importer works (albeit not that well for armatures). Really nice when it does work, but unfortunately not a complete bandaid for fbx troubles in blender

  Sorry for the delay of reply, the installation might be broken？For I have just tested v6.0.5, it works correctly on my machine.

  Addon freezes when performing an import - tried turning on and off animation, materials, etc. This is on Blender 4.2, using latest add-on version, running on a MacBook Pro M1, MacOS 14.7.
  Is it possible to issue a refund or provide some assistance in debug the freeze?

  If your shapekeys going from blender to unity are screwed up where not all vertices are moving. This addon fixes it.

  I used FBX Binary, ver 2020, i kept optimize for Game Engine on which seemed fine, every other setting is prob user preference. Worked like a charm though. If it doesnt immediately work for you just play around with the settings

  The fbx exported from C4D won't import and load. It contains rigging and animation, and it's over 100mb files.

  I turned off auto-rigging but it still doesn't work and I don't know how to fix it

  The blender version is 4.2LTS and fbx is 7.7
  The blender stops as soon as you bring it in and if it's hard to solve
  I want a refund process
