Select a light. Properties. Object Data tab. Power. Back to the Outliner. Next light. Again.
With a dozen lights you spend more time finding them than lighting with them, and the creative flowis gone.
Oh My Lights puts every light in one list in the 3D View sidebar, with the settings you touch 90% of thetime right there. See the whole rig at a glance, change anything in one click, get back to the fun part.
What you get
- One list for every light. Name, colour, power, solo and visibility. Click a row to select, filter by name, sort, show only the selected. Smooth even with hundreds of lights.
- Solo any light. One click shows the scene lit by that light alone. Click again and everything is back exactly as it was.
- The active light, fully. Type, colour or temperature in Kelvin, power, shadow, radius, cone and blend, sun angle, area shape and size.
- Batch power. Scale all selected lights ×0.5, ×0.8, ×1.25 or ×2, and the balance between them stays.
- Copy a look. Give selected lights the active light's settings while keeping them independent.
- Linked copies made obvious. A chain icon shows which lights share settings. Make Independent and Link Selected are one click away.
- Quick bar. Add Point, Sun, Spot or Area at the cursor, gather lights into a collection, toggle overlays, transparent film, render engine and world strength.
Why I made it
I was tired of hunting for lights all over the scene: three different collections, and all I wantedwas to change a colour quickly. So I put every light in one list, where a colour is one click away,whatever collection the light lives in.
Before every release it is installed into a clean Blender 4.5 and 5.2 and checked by an automated testsuite on Windows and Linux.
